Vote By Mail: Important Dates!

With the November election less than 5 months away, it’s time to start thinking how you will vote this year. But first thing’s first. Are you registered to vote? Were you previously registered to vote, but haven’t gone to the polls in a couple years? If you need help finding out this information, head to the Supervisor of Elections website to ensure you are ready for election day.

Next, even if you are prepared to vote in person, obtaining a Vote By Mail ballot is incredibly important. Any registered voter can request a Vote By Mail ballot, and this will guarantee if something prevents you from voting at the polls on election day, you will still have a way to make your voice heard.

Here are some key dates:

For the August 20th Primary- Last day to request a Vote By Mail ballot:

Thursday August 8th

For the November 5th Election- Last day to request a Vote By Mail ballot:

Thursday October 24th

Vote By Mail ballots can be turned in or received up to each election day, no later than 7pm, when the polls close. For additional details on how to request Vote By Mail ballots, or for questions click on the button below for the Supervisor of Elections page.
