Today’s Political Forum Showed Who Is Ready For Office

Today was the Key West Chamber of Commerce’s debate forum for all candidates running in the Keys. We answered questions from our peers about our plans if elected, how we would solve relative issues to our positions and how we can make our home of the Florida Keys a better place. 

The Chamber did a great job of hosting an interactive forum where candidates answered to the people through questions that were submitted, and it really showed who is ready for office. I am tired of watching BOCC meetings get shorter while budgets increase at an alarming rate and I made sure to convey that Monroe County needs a watchdog to protect taxpayers' hard earned dollars. As a former auditor, I am the person best for this position.
